How to Block Another Poster?

I can't see where you block a poster; I just want the flashing eyeball off of my screen. It gives me a headache and I have no problems with the poster, just the eye. Can you help me? Thank you!

Go to your login, click on ‘edit options’, and go down the page, and unclick the option for show avatars. I looked up your history, and found what you are writing about, and when I turned off avatars, it no longer showed. Good luck.

The flashing eyeball is truly a distracting eyesore (pun intended...).

I also was curious about that flashing eyeball.

Turning off avatars works, but the time may come when you want to actually block someone.

1) go to your control panel

2) click on Edit Options

3) click on Edit Ignore List

4) Type in the screen name of the person you want to ignore. As you start typing the name a drop down window will list user names that fit what you are typing, so you won't have to type in the whole username.
