Eugene.L.Rash Posted September 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Will be in the Miami area in Feb 2019. Thinking of catching a last minute cruise from Miami to Eastern Caribbean. Do cruise lines from Miami still allow last minute walk-ons to fill ship or if not, is there a 3 day prior to departure minimum? Advise on last minute deals are welcome as we are on a budget. Clarea Posted September 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Royal Caribbean will let you book up to 24 hours before the cruise.
Krazy Kruizers Posted September 25, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 25, 2018 Welcome to Cruise Critic. Each cruise line has different rules for last minute cruises. On HAL -- no deals -- pay full fare 3 days before the ship sails.
chengkp75 Posted September 25, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2018 No cruise line will let you "walk up" and book a cruise. Some allow bookings within 24 hours, some allow the afternoon/evening before, but all of them require the booking to be done by phone to their call center. There is no one at the terminal to sell you a cabin.
Rare Essiesmom Posted September 25, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2018 With Carnival, you can call in the morning and sail in the afternoon. You asked the exact same question last night under a different username: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2682644EM
