white denim in December?

I've never cruised this late in the season, and I'm from Chicago, so don't wear it in the winter. Yay or nay?

I own a boutique and years ago the rules went out! Go to NYC in winter...white pants, jeans everywhere! White sandals too!

Too bad they stopped having the White Night parties on X.,.everyone enjoyed them, cruisers, officers, staff; & almost everyone had something white to wear,,.

Our first Celebrity cruise was on Infinity in 2003 and I never remember White Night parties.

However Azamara have one every cruise.

This may be a male response but who cares what color clothes your wear. The idea that you can't wear while after a certain date went out w the 50's - the 1850's.

Darned right. And no one is going to stop me from wearing my straw skimmer after Labor Day, either. LOL

This perennial question always makes me smile. In fact when I first came across it I had to Google it as I had no idea what it meant.

It's a very North American specific question - nowhere else in the world has the 'no white after Labour Day' rule. And for those of us who live on the other side of the pond, Labour Day is May 1st - so that would make no sense at all!!
