When should I know our room number for the Escape?

My wife and I leave for our cruise on December 16th. We booked the guaranteed inside room with the drink package included about a week ago. We have our boarding cruise documents but they just show "GTY - Deck 0". This is only my 2nd cruise with NCL so I don't know if that is normal for them or not.

Sometimes a month or more in advance.

Sometimes a few days.

In some rare instances, not until you board.

How full does the ship seem to be? Are you still able to book a room?

The ship seems to be pretty full. When I booked it said something like "5 rooms left", but I never believe those things anyways. But yes, i just went to it and you can still book a room.

Looks like we are on the same sailing. I booked the day before Thanksgiving. Originally booked a Sailaway rate for an inside, three cabins. This past Wednesday, I upgraded up to the balcony Sailaway rate. Cabins were assigned yesterday.
