Margaritaville on Breakaway?

Was wondering if the Breakaway is still charging a flat fee of $14.99 to eat in Margaritaville or has it

gone back to being a la carte?

Still $14.99 as of two weeks ago.

So did you try to order a la carte and they said your only choice was to pay $14.99.

Still listed as flat as of last week. It's the most empty space on the entire ship lol...if you need some peace and quiet along with wind then MVill is your place...for a cost. We ate breakfast up there a cpl of times.

It served a lighter buffet style breakfast in the morning, till like 10:30 am at no charge, it's quieter as noted, could be windy & chiller (hoodies would do). Open for lunch with a flat fee, typically Noon to 4 PM and largely empty ... the few times we walked by, a wasteland.

Any speculation why NCL is continuing to operate Margaritaville as they have?

Has anyone tried to order a la carte and been told you can't? The NCL website still lists Margaritaville as an a la carte option.

Probably under contract...as it currently stands it's a complete waste of space...particularly in the winter season. It is literally empty during the vast majority of the time. As stated...we ate breakfast up there a cpl of times but the options offered are quite limited.

We just go to the buffet.

With Breakaway moving to New Orleans, they are probably hoping that it will be used more there with the overall warmer temps.

On the Escape it was Empty most of the time.

We just got off the BA on Sunday. No one goes there except for breakfast buffet. Certainly in worth the $14.99 for burgers and nachos.

hopefully ncl will listen, and bring back a la carte pricing - I would prefer to pay a la carte than a fixed fee....

We only ate the free breakfast there on the Getaway. I never saw anybody eat in there the rest of the day the whole cruise. They need to change it back to the Complimentary Flamingo Grill.

and bring back the Uptown Grill on the Breakaway

In October on the BA we spent a lot of time at the bar there. The bartenders are bored so you get good drinks and it's a quiet place to chat.
