Get a copy of Rick Steves' Mediterranean Cruise Ports, or Rick Steves' Northern European Cruise Ports, depending on where in Europe you are going. Lots of good information. EM

So much depends on your interests... for instance, if you asked about Civitavecchia, then many want to make the journey to Rome; I'd be going to a wine tasting in Tuscarnia, and my OH would be in the local Aqua Park all day... or else we might go to the beach at San Marinella. Which would you choose? :)
