Repositioning Cruise Itinerary Route Question

My Wife, some close friends and I are set to cruise on Adventure of the Seas on its 5/5/2018, 5 Night Eastern Caribbean/Repositioning Cruise to Cape Liberty, NJ.

We are seasoned Caribbean Island cruisers, but this is our first cruise north to the New York City Area.

Have any fellow cruisers traveled a similar cruise in early May, and I wondered what to expect of the weather and sea conditions in the Atlantic Ocean along this cruise route.

We have cruised before that route during that period and we didn’t experience any rough seas.

As a seasoned cruiser you know that sea conditions are impossible to predict and will depend primarily on the weather in the area at the given time. There is nothing particularly unique with that area of the Atlantic at that time of the year to suggest any specific issues.

All true, but it should be cool............

It will likely be on the cooler side but when it comes to weather you never know for sure.

I'd expect it to be a bit too cool for being outside on the pool deck.

We went on the east coast Norfolk, Charleston, Bermuda in April

it was anything but cool

Bermuda was high 60's
