Luvthebeach312 Posted September 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2018 :):)Hi, I will be sailing on a chartered reggae cruise this December. Would all the usual restaurants be open on a charter cruise vs a typical cruise on that ship? Thanks!:)
George C Posted September 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2018 We did a charter music cruise on celebrity all specialty restaurants and Free restaurants were open as normal
Diver2014 Posted September 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2018 Nothing changes on the ship in relation to what is offered on a 'normal' cruise with the exception of special shows and charter specific activities. Everything else on the ship remains the same - dining venues, crew, pools, amenities. We've been on 2 charter cruises and the only things different are the activities offered by the charter company. wwcruisers Posted September 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2018 I would agree that not much changes, with most charters. Although, on our Smooth Jazz Cruise, on Celebrity Summit, they did away with the traditional 2-seating system (early and late) in the Main Dining Room. They opted for a more flexible 'open' seating, with a separate area for those who had pre-made seating reservations. It makes perfect sense. After all, on a music charter, the evening revolves around the entertainment, rather than the dining schedule. BTW -- the specialty restaurants ran exactly the same as they do, on a 'regular' cruise.
