On another board someone said they were told they will have access to the Diamond Lounge due to their level of play. Anyone ever hear that this is a casino perk? I have not.

Masters 100,000+ has access to the CL.

That I know. This person already knew they would have access to the CL because they booked a suite. They specifically stated they would also have access to the Diamond Lounge because of their level of play.

I didn't hear that. I would think that it would work the same as someone that has a suite. Unless they are Diamond or above they could only use the CL.

How do you amass 100,000 points without attaining Diamond anyway?

I was told by a casino host about a woman who spent her whole time in the casino. By the end of the cruise she had over 100,000 points in one cruise. I was told she was playing Max bet and won some big jackpots that she just kept putting back in the machine.

It sounds like my friend. 😀

Happy Days!!!! I am also doing an 8 day Anthem cruise. You wouldn't happen to be travelling in February 2019?

Hey! I just saw your post on the Roll Call for Oct. 27 Anthem sailing. I'm on that one! See you in the Casino or the Meet and Greet. What is your first name?

It would sure be nice to be able to speak with one person who knows what they are doing. I am so tired of getting "newbies" on the phone. Ever since they expanded their program I end up with people answering the phone who I have never spoken with. They lack of knowledge is getting quite annoying.

That is interesting, will have to see if I get that one also, I qualify so I should. They say my email is correct.

I found out something interesting yesterday when I called the casino to book a cruise. I mentioned that I haven't received any email offers in a long time. He told me if you don't take advantage of offers after a long time they remove you from the email list. He said I should be receiving them being I'm Signature. He checked and there were a few offers I didn't know about, but still nothing I could take advantage of. I only take advantage of offers on Anthem. He was going to change a date in the computer, that should let me received offers again. We shall see.

I also got confirmation about the new program. He told me they had changed the dates to qualify. This first year went to March 2018, which makes sense for me, because I had 4 cruises from January -March 2018 where I earned a lot of points. I originally thought I would only be Prime, based on my play from 2017, but ended up as Signature. So this explains it. The next qualifying year will be April 1 2018 - March 31 2019. Not the 15 months they were originally saying.

I wonder what their definition of "a long time" is.

I've only taken advantage of one of their offers (and I'm not sure I even got that one in email). I'm generally booked up 18-24 in advance, so their email offers of stuff happening in the next few months doesn't do me much good. The one offer I did use was a Bermuda cruise on Anthem of the Seas in October 2015. I've not taken any since and I'm still receiving the offers via email and postcards.

They never said anything about the not taking advantage of the offers to me, the wife and I both got invites to the beach bash my snail mail, nothing electronic. Maybe I should call them and have them reset my offer date stuff,

I never received anything in the mail or email for the beach bash, but when he checked my offer was on my account. I couldn't take advantage of it though.

I have noticed that both the email and snail mail offers that we've been receiving lately aren't nearly as good as those we used to receive before the new program FINALLY got started. The Beach Bash one was for $250 off which is a joke. In the past those had always been for at least $750 off but more often than not, free inside cabin which were easily and affordably upgraded. In fact, we used a snail mail offer last year and upgraded from the "free" inside all the way to Star Class for a very reasonable upcharge (Allure in April of this year). I don't think that's going to happen anymore.

I received the Beach Bash offer in the mail today and mine was for $750 off. I doubt we will use it as we are already booked up for travel (cruise and non-cruise trips) from mid-August through mid-November and again in January and February. I still have to squeeze in our comp cruise sometime in March as well. I much prefer the free inside offers and reasonably inexpensive upgrades. We are on the Harmony this fall on an inside certificate and I was able to upgrade all the way to a Crown Loft (L1) for about $850 each which is a huge savings over the regular fares.

I got a comp offer a few years ago for the Beach Bash. Now my play is much higher but I only got a $250 off offer. No thanks.

Ironically, I had a Free inside stateroom offer for Oasis August 2nd, which I had to cancel due to family member health issues. I figured I would be getting another offer for a free similar cruise through Royale. Guess I was wrong. Hope one comes. But, I do have a COMPLETELY FREE, balcony on MSC Seaside through URComped scheduled for October. It was a free "Bella Inside", that was upgraded by MSC to a "Fantastica Balcony" cabin on the 14th Deck. No taxes, no fees whatsoever. $200/person deposit, which becomes on-board credit once we board. And, free drinks in the casino. I'll just use my OBC towards a drink package for the week, I guess. MSC might be my "New" gambling ship.
