Stockholm Airport ... what time would you arrive?

Recommended Posts

I have often been flying out of Arlanda Stockholm Airport. Depending on airline. SAS does close check in 30 minutes before departure but you need to be at the gate 20 minutes before departure. I would be at the airport no later than 60 minutes before departure. Normally security is 10 minutes.

Sunday morning traffic is not that bad, however almost an hour by car - best way to get to the airport is Arlanda Express train.

I often stay at an airport hotel when early departure.

Thank you for the helpful replies. We were told 3 hours and felt that was way too much.

Check in might not be open that early a Sunday morning. Assuming SAS an hour will be fine for a flight to Paris.

It is most likely Air France since SK does not have any CDG flights until 07.15 Check-in machines are likely

to be open 24/7 and check-in closes 40 minutes before the flight's departure. AF recommends being

at the airport about 2 hours before the flight's departure. https://www.airfrance.se/SE/en/common/guidevoyageur/aeroport/enregistrement_hle.htm
