ATMs in St Petersburg

Are there conveniently located ATMs in SpG ? In otherwords, near the port or major sites so we can purchase a small amount for incidentals. Larger purchases will be by credit card.

There is one in the terminal once you come through passport control.

We used the one in the cruise terminal with no problems.

I don’t think we needed rubles anywhere we went, but we were paying for our tour in cash and didn’t want to pay the high commission to get dollars, euros, or pounds locally before we left.

There are a lot of ATM's in St. Petersburg, but it looks like you can withdraw only rubles.

What other currency would you expect to withdraw in Russia.
