Helsinki - possible to do both Soumenlinna Island & Seurasaari Island in one day?

Hi all,

We'd love to visit both Soumenlinna and Seurasaari Islands during our port stop in Helsinki on Fri. June 22. We're in port from 7 am - 4 pm.

Is it possible to visit and tour both and what would be the best way to get to them? Taxi, Hop On Hop Off bus, public transportation?

It should not be impossible if you just keep track of the time.

Bus 24 will take you to Seurasaari. It stops in downtown in front of the Swedish Theatre at the West end of the Esplanade park while the ferry to Suomenlinna starts at the Market Square at the East end of the Esplanade park so its just a 7 block walk between them. Note that there are rather long intervals between the buses on route 24.
