Oslo/Bygdoy

Recommended Posts

When taking the ferry to Bygdoy, I see that there are two stops....Dronningen and Bygdoynes. If I get off at Dronninigen to see the Folk Museum first, would I then be walking DOWNHILL going towards the Fram Museum? I much prefer walking downhill to uphill! Thank you.

It's slightly uphill from the ferry pier to the Folk Museum, but I can't recall a noticeable elevation change between the Folk Museum and the Fram Museum. I don't know that I've ever walked it, but I've done part of the route by cycle. It's about 20 minutes' walk between the two, so most people just hop on the 30 bus, since it runs every 10 minutes.
