Hawaii volcano

I have read that some recent CruiseLine's have altered their Hawaii itinerary to avoid Hilo and Kona due to greater levels of volcanic smog, which has been affecting the air quality throughout the southern part of the island.

Does anyone have any further information regarding changes to Hawaii cruise itineraries?

Some have changed back. As mentioned on your other thread, some off these decisions will be made much closer to sailing date, particularly as volcanic activity has slowed notably.

There are no changes to cruise ship itineraries right now. The air quality on the Big Island is the best it's been in over a decade.
