disneylover89 Posted July 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2018 Which Dream class ship is your favorite and why? Dream, Magic or Breeze?
bury me at sea Posted July 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2018 I haven't sailed the Dream. I have a slight preference for the Breeze over the Magic, mostly because of decor and because I have come to recognize some of the staff from previous cruises. The Breeze's atrium still blows me away. Nevertheless I would happily sail on the Magic again if she ever moves back to Galveston.
Rare pirate4me2 Posted July 18, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 18, 2018 Have sailed all 3, and I have to say Magic is my LEAST favorite. We have been on her twice and I just don't know what it is about that ship....both cruises were good, but there is just something off. Between the Dream and the Breeze, it's too hard to say which is my favorite! I love love LOVE the décor of the Breeze, and we had an amazing cruise on her, but the Dream was a really great cruise as well and my husband and I both left that vacation blown away. hockeyluver Posted July 19, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2018 Great topic for me ! We have sailed the Breeze (my 50th with our daughters and their S.O's so it will always hold a special place in my heart). We are booked on the Dream this February coming and on the Magic in 2020. It will be very interesting to hear all the different opinions.
Crusin Hogs Posted July 20, 2018 #5 Share Posted July 20, 2018 The Breeze is the best of Carnival
theboatahoy Posted July 20, 2018 #6 Share Posted July 20, 2018 The Breeze is the best of CarnivalI agreed with you until I discovered the wonders of the Havana cabins. Still, the Breeze is 1a out of any Carnival ship. Sent from my Pixel using Forums mobile app

watermelonqueen99 Posted July 20, 2018 #8 Share Posted July 20, 2018 Been on the Dream twice and the Magic three times. Much prefer the Magic. She just feels newer and cleaner to us.

SkyPiglet Posted July 20, 2018 #10 Share Posted July 20, 2018 I have never been on Magic, but between Breeze and Dream, I would select Breeze for slightly more dining options, those being Cucina del Capitano and the appetizers at Red Frog Pub. On the other hand, for the time being, Dream's home-port of New Orleans is a huge factor, going in the night before makes it truly a destination on its own. Close though... Rare Saint Greg Posted July 20, 2018 #11 Share Posted July 20, 2018 I’ve only been on Breeze. I’m about to get on Dream. I can tell you I like Breeze better because it has a Red Frog Pub and the Thrill Theater and the Dream doesn’t.
darth frosty Posted July 20, 2018 #12 Share Posted July 20, 2018 Ive been on the dream twice and the breeze once (although I sailed the breeze 1st.) I too was blown away by the breeze so much that I booked several cruises on the Vista based on the things I saw on the breeze (I figured it would just get better ;-/ I will be on the magic in Oct to complete the class, but, Breeze IMO is the best! momof4girls Posted July 20, 2018 #13 Share Posted July 20, 2018 Haven’t been on the Breeze yet (c’mon May:cool:) but between the Magic and Dream, I’d pick Magic only because we loved the Red Frog Pub. Great little hangout in the evening, with it being right near the Ocean Plaza.

evandbob Posted July 20, 2018 #17 Share Posted July 20, 2018 I used to sail the Conquest class ships, now graduated to the Dream class, I have sailed all 3, they handle waves fine, and IMO, the differences between them are minor. I've also sailed the Vista and Horizon, which, IMO, are mostly improvements on the Dream class. Each generation of ships seems to get better, progress can be a wonderful thing. That said, I would sail any class ship, except Fantasy, for the right casino fare.
