Coco Kay: tips for those without fancy cabanas :)

where is a good place to head to sit if you have kids and your 72 year old Mom? She is a good walker. I want a nice spot that’s not insane but is an area we can swim and hang out with a chair.

I know the immediate area must be nuts.

Yes, the 1st beach area will always be the most crowded....simply keep on past there, and you will find your perfect spot! There are loungers scattered about everywhere!

Go all the way to right outside the clamshell area. If things changed since construction, that was a very quiet area

It is for us.

LOL. I guess I should have clarified. It is like Jamaica all year round? We went to the Disney Island in December and it was too cold to enjoy. I am not sure how far south this island is...

We usually look for a more 'quiet' area to just relax. We also need to sit in the shade, so when we were there in March, we were also to to walk right until you find an area where it suits your liking. We walked a short while and there were many loungers all over with not a lot of people. We just moved some around to get under a palm tree and there we spent a good part of the day. We were a bit from the big BBQ, but that was OK.

Good swimming everywhere.

We always sit at the same spot. When you get off the ship, walk past the bathrooms and buffet area. You will see the band stand. Walk down to the beach from there and chill for the day. I take walks, we lay in the water, it is awesome.
