Oasis entertainment cancellations

Greeting all. We are on the Sept 16 Oasis sailing. We were reading some threads on another site where passengers complained that during their sailings in July there were technical problems and all the shows were cancelled the whole week. Any one have more info on that?

Often times, the aqua shows are cancelled due to weather, so it is best to book your show for as soon as possible during the cruise (to allow more chances for you to see it again should it be cancelled, as the main aqua shows are often only held the first few nights, at least in my experience). Technical difficulties do happen occasionally as well, but when they do, the shows are almost always made up. Have a great cruise and make the most of everything onboard, which it sounds like you’re doing by being proactive about booking your entertainment! Safe travels!

ALWAYS book the aqua show in the beginning. It is an incredible show and NOT shown everyday.

We have been on all the Oasis ships when shows have been cancelled. Weather/technical/etc.

If you book toward the end of the last showing & it gets cancelled....you lose !

We have been on where they added a show to make up and where they did NOT add a show to make up.

If your show gets cancelled...go to the next one EARLY. Remember this venue is not as large as the theater and will not hold double the people showing up.

We also always go early because a percentage of the seats are in the direct sun.

I haven’t read of any other cruises like the one that you referred to happening since then. Looks like that week was a one off.

(y) + caveat. Don't sit to far back under the covered seats, you will not be able to see the high divers up at the top.
