Can you book on RCI website and then move it to a TA later?

Yes, you have 60 days after initial booking to move it.

Also, you cannot have paid in full before you move it.

Oh very nice, thanks. I'm not paying in full that's for sure. [emoji16]

I am curious how that works....if you book with RCI and then transfer does the TA get commission still? does it affect their pay? My husbands friend is our travel agent so I would not want to offend him or change his pay. But I would also like a good deal. Do you feel RCI is the cheapest way to go? Thanks!!

There is no negative effect for the TA by doing it this way.

Most people who book and stay with RC want to be able to fully control the booking. Once your TA has the booking, everything must go through that TA. (except for stuff you can book on your Cruise Planner)

  • 2 weeks later...
Perhaps the title was too long but just as it says. Can I book right now direct on Royal Caribbeans website and then move it to a TA next week?

You can do it online here http://rccl.force.com/directtransfers/DTTRoyal or via paper here http://www.royalcaribbean.com/content/en_US/pdf/TA_TransferForm.pdf
