Yes, the water taxi is running - at least it was on Christmas Day when we were there. We walked into town, but I did hear offers of $3 person to take a cab - both to town from the port and back to the port from town at the end of the day. There were A LOT of taxis and drivers soliciting rides.

The water taxis were running the week of Feb 11, 2018. (oasis) We thought the wristbands were $6 for all day, but when we got there, the charge was $7 per person for all day.

We got an extra large large umbrella, 3 chairs, and 6 drinks in a bucket of ice for $35 for 3 people on the beach in town. We got diet cokes and put a bit of flavored rum in them- we had bought a small bottle while we were walking around town before we went to the beach.

People were very friendly and we spent a bit more money in the shops than we usually do. It was a nice day.
