A wee bit confused

Hi there this is our first time cruising with our friends. We have a problem understanding the drinks package. It states that water, tea and coffee free along with soda. I know it doesn't included specialist coffee's etc. We are not heavy drinkers so wouldn't be worth our while purchasing the alcohol one. We were thinking of taking the soft drinks package would this just be coke or are there other selections? Sorry if this question has been asked before. We are sailing on the Symphony of the sea in 06/04/2018

many thanks

Is this RCCI that your sailing on?

Yes you get tea/coffee included. Note there is no free soda anywhere on ship. What they mean is you get flavoured drinks in the buffet and generally no where else. It's totally OK to get these flavoured drinks out to the pool deck.

Soft drink packages are usually coke, etc. Dispensed not from cans. They will often be able to get some virgin drinks as well, but not necessarily all of them.

Do a search of drink prices on this site as many people post the prices of different drinks & what is included.

Also it is tap water which is included in your basic package not bottled water, which is generally a lot more expensive on a ship

Ice water, coffee, tea (iced or hot), lemonade, milk and juice at breakfast are included in your fare. You don't need a package to get a soda or alcohol...you can simply buy when you want it! Some ships have "freestyle" soda machines, which can only be accessed WITH a package and the cup that comes with it. On ships without the freestyle machine, it's only coke products from a fountain gun at any bar.

Without a package, you will simply buy a can of soda when and if you want one.
