P&O wifi and mobile charges

Hi,

Going on a P&O cruise next week. Just hoping someone who has been on a recent P&O cruise can give me some advice on wifi and mobile charges. I am trying to work out if I should use my mobile on board to keep in touch with my kids or connect to wifi and use Viber.

Any advice would be appreciated such as what are the current fees, etc.

i was on a p&o cruise recently but didnt use the internet but you can buy a 24 hour package for $10 per 24 hours

dont use your mobile as its too dear

Definitely don't use your mobile! As soon as you are at sea it switches to emergency SOS marine and that is horrendously expensive. Whatever you do switch your phone to flight mode onboard to avoid those charges. Even logging on the a minute will cost about $30.
