Castaway Cay Cabanas Question

We will be cruising mid-December on the Magic. Is it warm enough to go in the water at Castaway Cay? Also, if we book a cabana, how long do we have to change our mind and get a refund?

Can't speak to the water temperature that time of the year, but you can cancel up to three days prior to departure.

The charge for the Cabana is non-refundable if you don't cancel at least 3 days prior to the START of the cruise (not 3 days before Castaway Cay, 3 days from the start of the cruise). There's no refund if you cancel in time, as there's no charge yet.

That said, you can wait until you're onboard, and, if you cancel, there may be a waiting list for a cabana. In that case, since DCL would be able to "resell" your reservation, you wouldn't be charged.

The water temperature will be fine. The air temperature can be great or can be cool, which greatly influences your perception of the water.

As above, you can cancel your cabana up to 3 days before embarkation.

I was at Castaway Cay the first week of December 2018 and had a beautiful cabana. It was a cold and windy day and we sat in the cabana with coats and blankets still a wonderful treat. Good luck
