Do P & O (Aria) ever discount the drinks package?

Hi All

I'm very new to cruising, have only done one on the Carnival Legend to Noumea, Mare and Isle of Pines. Absolutely loved it so have booked another one on P & O Aria out of Brisbane In September for our 10 year anniversary.

Wanted something out of Brisbane so we had less time away from our 4 year old who will be staying home with Nana.

I was just wondering if they ever discount the drinks package?. I am still trying to decide whether to purchase it or not at this stage. Our drinks bill on the Legend was $1500 for the 8 nights as she don't mind a few drinks here and there.

Look out for the sales that include the drinks package (usually cruises 7 nights or more). Yes, I find they jack up the prices a bit during those sales, but not so much that it would be better to buy the two separately. So in a way you are getting the drinks package for a 'discount' at that time.
