Room 9576 on Radiance: advice

We had room 9576 on the Radiance. Loved it for Alaska... especially when viewing the Glacier! We had a great view for 75% of the time when at the glacier.

Note, this hump cabin is indeed kind of right off of the centrum, but a few floors up. I am a light sleeper, and worried about the noise. It did get very noisy... but then when someone closed the door between us and the library, we couldn’t hear the noise from our room. This door was closed every night, and the noise did not disturb us [emoji4]

So, my advice is, if you have this room, and you find the centrum noise too loud, find out who can close that door for you :)

Have had this cabin numerous times on different Radiance class ships. Great location, and, the balcony is a bit larger than other D1 balconies.

Done that myself...

I must not be as sensitive to the centrum noise. Have had similar cabins on other Radiance class sailings on deck 9. While I could somewhat "hear" it, I just dosed off.

I definitely want a similar room when we do the Panama Canal. Will learn how to close the door myself :)
