Anthem Deck Preferences

Recommended Posts

We were in cabin 9648 a couple of years ago loved it. It was very close to elevators and the balcony was huge. I love being close to the elevators so convenient. The cabin is on the back side of the hump . I would definitely book this cabin again . Have a great cruise. :)

Thoughts on best deck on Anthem?

I'll be traveling with my husband and my father + his wife. Looking for convenience to venues with still having a nice view from the balcony. We'll be looking for 1 balcony and 1 interior.

Thank you for your help!

We like midship with cabins above and below. Also consider one balcony view on deck 9 and one central park view. The cPV are great cabins, slightly larger then inside and you get light! Deck nine CPV do not have a balcony, but a really nice sitting area by the window Price almost the same as interior. Enjoy

The Anthem does not have Central Park.

Pull up the deck plans from the web site.

Verandas from deck 7 up have great views. Deck seven is above the life boats and should not be a problem as far as a view goes although as with almost any verandas the lifeboats can be seen when looking down.

If you want your veranda to be on the same deck as the interior there are plenty to choose from on almost any deck from 7 on up.

The ships venues can be seen in relation to the banks of elevators which are at the front and rear of midship.

Ship motion on the upper decks is slightly more of a problem for some who tend to be more sensitive to it.

Staterooms at the extreme rear of the ship can be a walk from the elevators and could be something to look at, depending on mobility.

We always book verandas with staterooms above and below. Not above or below any areas with activities.

Best of cruising to your family.

We're on Anthem now on Deck 7 and our view is partially obstructed by life boats (although we did not pay obstructed-view price). What's worse is the structure that holds the lifeboat is directly opposite our balcony, and it's very white and really adds a lot of light pollution. We have decided nothing lower than Deck 9 in the future.

But we still love the ship.

Deck 5 has outside promenade where people sometimes congregate noisily, especially near theater entrance. There is also an outdoor smoking area toward the rear of deck 5 starboard. Smoke and noise drift up and aft.

Have read quite a few noise complaints about deck 13. Cabins there are directly beneath pool deck or Windjammer.
