A day in Galveston

we are flying in on Thursday for our Saturday cruise. We are spending 2 nights at the Harbor House. This will be first visit so what are the not to be missed things to do for one day?

That depends on a lot of things. Are you looking for kid-friendly things? Do you prefer history or adrenaline?

Galveston has enough to fill a week's worth of vacation so it's hard to narrow it down without knowing what you like.

You can walk right to it,from your hotel. It's only a few hundred feet away

If you don't like shrimp and gumbo. There will be other vendors there. You don't want to pass up the lamb gyros.... they're excellent
