Casino Royale New Tier Program

Recommended Posts

In the machines you have to check to make sure your card is registering. I sometimes have to reinsert the card many times till it registers.

If you play before it registers no points.

I know she earned enough points for a $20 free play credit, as I was there she “cashed it in” on night 6 or 7 of a 9-night cruise. No clue how many that takes (I’m sure it’s not a ton), but she played each of the next 3 nights for several hours.

$20 free play is about 1000 points. For 1000 points she would have received a $200 certificate to use on a cruise within a year, booked within 30 days. 1200 points is $300 off and 1600 points is $400 points.

Call the casino, they should have a record.

More than I though, lol! Thanks so much for the info! I assume the certificate has to be used in 30 days like the free cruise certificates?

Got off of HOTS last week, and I am not impressed with their players club. I played what I considered to be a fair amount. Probably 4 nights, for a total of 3-4 hours each. I played table games and my average bet was not less than $100. I always ask what my average is before leaving a table, but I forgot once leaving craps because I was drunk and up $4K. My last night there I asked the host about my points, and she informed me that I had 496 and would be getting a $100 a future cruise voucher. $100 off?? Really? I've had Diamond status with Ceasars for 5 years, and a stent there with these betting levels would get me the 15K points needed to reup my status.

I played less than this on NCL last year (a lot less) and got an offer for a free cruise when I got home. Not impressed RCCL

You use your sea pass card in the casino. Insert into the slot machine before playing or your sea pass card will be swiped at the table by the dealer. If you are a Mlife member, your points on the ship are not transferrable. Which means, if you have not been on a cruise within the last year or so to accumulate any points, you start with 0 points on the ship. Let the casino host know you are a Mlife member and they will tell you how many points you need to accumulate on the ship to qualify for the VIP sticker which gives you free drinks while playing and a waiver for the 5% convenience fee if you request money on your sea pass account from the casino. Ask the casino host for the chart showing the Club Royale (CR) tiers and the benefits for each level -- Choice (1 - 2499 points), Prime (2500 - 24,999 points), Signature (25,000 - 99,999 points), Masters (over 100,000 points). Points are accumulated on RC cruises throughout the year (Apr 1 - Mar 31) to determine your tier for the next year. So if you cruise and gamble a lot, you can rack up the points. I am not sure if CR points are recognized for perks thru Mlife. I have heard that you can earn comp'd cruises on RC as a Mlife member and the points earned thru Mlife. Have fun on your cruise and good luck in the casino.

You are correct, you cannot earn MLife tier points from your play on RC. Also, if you are on an MLife comps/reward cruise, although you may earn points, they will not be used in tallying your Club Royale status.

Can you please clarify this statement? We will be sailing on a cruise that is a comp/reward from MLife. While we are in the casino on the ship, all points earned will go to the Club Royale program, right? I have assumed that any gambling on board will only affect status/benefits in the the RCCL casino program and will have no bearing whatsoever on MLife points/status. (It's the "although you may earn points" part that I didn't quite understand.)

You will absolutely get points towards the Club Royale Tier Program. The only way to get Mlife points in addition would be to use the MGM Credit Card for your on board spending.

I respectfully beg to beg to differ as i discussed this exact scenario with casino operations on the phone yesterday in an effort to resolve my Club Royale status. Although, you may earn points for reward as in a certificate, they will not count those points towards establishing your Tier status (choice, prime, signature).

Hope you receive it. let us know...

I called CR and requested an email with my status. He did verify I was signature and said he would put in a request to have an email sent to me. He said it would take about 5 days. I'm not getting an email. I know it, you know it and we all know it. No problem. LOL

That is totally different than what I was told. My wife and I are both "prime" members. I already booked the first free cruise. I have never received more than 1000 points on any cruise. Most of them averaging about 500. My wife plays the slots more than I so she has gotten to 1600 on one cruise she probably averages about 800.

Between us we have never gotten enough points to receive a free cruise certificate.

So they had to add up all our points.

I would contact the person who told you that a tell her she needs serious retraining.

What she probably was getting to was you can't earn Mlife points on a cruise.

I have been in a running battle over my overall credits and tier assignment. My total points earned was 24,807. When they subtracted points earned on my 2 MLife cruises i had just over 13,000 points which is what they originally told me, which is why i challenged them.

On your situation, how many cruises have u taken? Fairly easy to get to prime with 3 or 4 sub-1000 cruises.

Interesting. Next year I may try to combine the comps. I didn't realize they would allow you to do that. When they do that, they just use the cash value or do they allow you to still be fully "comped" with a discount on the upgrade ?

The OS would have been fully comped combining my GS and DH Inside comp, only had to pay the tax.

Ok so...I've booked a free trip for March 2019. When would we be eligible for another free trip (assuming we keep at least Prime status?)

Assuming you keep at least Prime status, you will be eligible for another free cruise starting 4/1/19 and it must be taken before 3/31/20.
