Good ways from Whittier to Anchorage?

Hi!

I've looked at what I can for getting 6 people from the tiny port village of Whittier to Anchorage. Princess will do it, but it can be quite expensive.

There are no more cars left to rent for the day we get there.

So far, the only interesting service is alaskacruisetransfer.com

When I went to the Caribbean, I came on these forums and found all these great local tour companies that were utterly fantastic. Is there anything like that for Alaska????

We have 6 people heading to Anchorage and we want to see stuff on the way. Not really sure what, but would love to hear what there is! Is there any small, private tour that would do what all those Caribbean island residents do?

If not, then it looks like alaskacruisetransfer.com is the way to go!

We are booked with ACT (Alaska Cruise Transfer) at the end of this month to get us from Whittier port to our hotel in Anchorage. I found their prices very reasonable compared to the Princess transfer and they have been great to work with so far. They seem to be one of the best options.

We are booked with ACT - Big Bus for post cruise tour and drop off at the airport.......we leave on June 20th for the cruise on the Coral...
