Quoddy whale watching excursion

Hi,

I'm interested in this tour since I know for certain that they can accommodate a wheelchair. How do we get from the ship (Anthem) to their catamaran? If a taxi is necessary, how would that work and what would be the approximate cost?

Thanks,

Paula

Given the unusual name, I'm 99% certain you mean Quoddy Link Marine whalewatching, which is based out of St Andrews - while your ship docks in Saint John, about an hour away! I've only visited this part of the world driving, so never had to arrange transport from a ship to another town...

If you book through the cruiseline, it will include a transfer from the pier to the whalewatching vessel - depending why the wheelchair is needed you may or may not be able to rent your own car or split a cab with someone, which could offer savings (e.g. if the wheelchair user can manage in a regular car seat for traveling, you can easily rent a car with a trunk big enough to fit a travel chair - but if it's a big chair or scooter that does not collapse you may have very limited options for getting there yourselves and have to suck up the cruiseline price padding...)
