Re waterbug 123's post concerning some possible improvement in the TSA Pre-Check experience at ATL:

 

As I said in my post on this thread (#13), maybe my complaint to my Member of Congress about my experience "rattled some cages" at TSA when Mr. Turner's staff made an inquiry for an explanation.

We would be happy campers if true. But we have never, ever, seen it. What has happened, a couple of times, is that we were given a pre-check card that allowed us through without having to remove our shoes.

 

Well, I didn't announce it as cold hard fact, just something I read very recently (within the last couple of days) and can't recall the source. I won't be arriving internationally into ATL again until Sept so won't be able to confirm first hand until then.
