Houston Best Western plus question

Im looking at staying in the great western plus hotel on airport blvd. Can I get some feedback on this area or this hotel. Is it an area I need to worry about or is it good for a one night stay.

Fine for one night stay. Don't suggest walking around the area, however. Are you planning on going back to Hobby to do the cruise line transfer to Galveston?

No I'm using vip express picking us up at the hotel at 8:30 am

Was thinking you could go to Galveston when you arrive and stay there over night, but the hotel at Hobby and VIP is probably cheaper.
