Aarp gift cards!!!!!!!!!!

When we had a couple months left to go before our cruise, one of the hardest parts about the wait was seeing everyone on here who was going on theirs much sooner. Time couldn't pass fast enough. Now that we're back, it's even harder to see everyone who will be going soon. :( Man, I need to win the lottery so we can cruise more.

I know right! I remember when I first bought this cruise for my husband and the app showed 189 days to go. Now we’re down to 30 days and I’m even more excited than I was back in November. Seriously, I could be packed in 10 minures :). BTW, I enjoyed reading your review! Hopefully there are many more cruises for us and our families!!!

Okay, without going back through 137 pages of information, I hope someone can help me. I ordered a (hard copy) gift card months ago, and I just went to use it to pay down the balance of our cruise, and I'm not sure where to locate the PIN Number? I've used the emailed cards before and it's very obvious, but I don't see the PIN Number on this actual card, or the piece of paper that came with it, unless I am just not looking in the correct spot. Can anyone help with this? Thanks!

Aarp removes ecards on weekends and adds them back on weekdays just a heads up

I had NO this happened, but found out it sure does this past weekend. Another heads up is we ended up purchasing a $500 gift card (not the electronic version) and the envelope came damaged with no card in it!!!!! Luckily UPS at our location received it hat way and will be sending info to AARP. We are out the gift card and the money until the investigation is complete. I will never do anything but e-gift cards in the future.

So sorry this happened to you. I only ordered the physical gift cards one time and I worried so much about the scenario you described, I couldn’t sleep. I told myself never again and have only ordered e-cards since.

I purchased cruise cash with the discounted gcs so that my S&S account is already updated before I step on the ship. I’ve read posts where others have had issues applying their gift cards while on the ship (i.e. having to wait hours-days for gc verification and/or the gcs themselves being an issue). I don’t want to take any chances.

What is discounted cruise cash.... sorry I never did that🤷*♀️

Help me please....

If I purchase GC to be used for cheers can I purchase say $700 to be used for cheers? Idk if it’s only one card per order🤷*♀️

You may use GC for anything you wish. I always use them for everything I purchase, including Cheers! I usually buy the $100 cards since I purchase them when I have some extra $. I end up using five or six at a time when purchasing Cheers!, shore excursions or even paying for the cruise itself. So to answer your question, YES, you may use multiple cards to pay for your entire Cheers! package.

No problem :). I purchase discounted AARP cards which allow you to save 10 % (google aarp rewards). So you by a $100 aarp gift card for $90. You don’t have to be an aarp member. There are lots of CC threads on aarp rewards. Anyhoo...Then I purchase Cruise Cash through Carnival’s fun shops using the aarp gift cards as payment. That way my S&S account is already funded before I step on the ship. Hope this makes sense!

I used the AARP GCs to pay for my upcoming cruise, cheers and and extra 2 - $100 ones to put on account once on ship for extras. Like some gambling and wife's shopping. Last night purchased 4 $500 GCs E cards for my Sept daughters cruise. Saves them $200. Within minutes they were in my inbox and already have them printed out.

Blarko already mentioned how you can use multiple gift cards to purchase things from Carnival, but if you're asking if you can order more than one gift card from AARP, that answer is also yes. I think they limit you to 5 gift cards per order, if I'm not mistaken, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

If you order the physical gift cards, you're charged a small shipping fee for each (just under 20 cents each I think). If your total equals $500 or more, then they're shipped via UPS and require a signature. Anything under $500 is mailed via USPS and doesn't require a signature. The eCards are sent almost immediately by email and no shipping charge. They can be printed out and taken with you on board or used to purchase things ahead of time.

Just be aware that Cruise Cash is non-refundable. It has to be used on the cruise you buy it for or you lose it. Well, unless you know how to cash out in the casino, but that's for another day. ;)

If you want, you can take gift cards with you on board and add them to your S&S account either at Guest Services or one of the kiosks. If you have anything left over at the end of the cruise that was added using a gift card will be refunded on a gift card (or you cash out in the casino).

I think we saved $250 using the gift cards to pay for our last cruise. Could've saved even more, but I didn't find out about them until after we paid a little down. Not to mention what we saved by using them to buy some Cruise Cash, FTTF, and internet plans.

Does it say ecard? I just bought some ecards on AARP last week. They came within a minute or so.

Wait...someone just recently posted that they remove ecards on weekends. I’d wait until Monday to place the order. The ones I see on there now don’t say ecard.

Is there a way to know which quizzes give the most points? Thx!

Not without opening them up

For me I right click the quick and select open in new tab - I will open up about 10 quizzes at a time and just quickly do them to be honest I no longer read them I just answer and move on takes about 30 secs per quiz

Got my gift cards and I’m going to use them for Cheers.

Forgive me .... the extra $200 I want to use maybe for the casino.

Can someone tell me how and what to ask for ? Then if anything is left on my card at the end of the cruise how do I cash it out. Thanks in advance for your help
