Finding cabin mates

Hello!

I’m going on my first solo cruise in September and booked a cabin to myself. I would like to cruise more, however single supplements and solo cabins are simply not budget friendly. Does anyone know any good places to find cruise companions?

Has anyone had any experience with finding a cruise companion this way?

Thanks very much!

I have never found anyone to go on a cruise with me this way, but I have connected with several other women who were interested...we just never were able to work it out. I would only do this with someone from my area so that we could meet first before leaving for the cruise.

You can Google "cruise" or "travel" + "companions" and find sites that let you make connections...sort of like a dating service! Cruise Critic won't let us post the names or URLs here.
