Sky Open Bar - Shots included?

Girls trip on Sky this summer! Excited about their Open Bar :) The current question is... are shots included in that? Obviously not the expensive stuff.. no need for fancy stuff here lol

Yes, shots are included. Any alcohol in the included list may be made into a shot.

Fireball is included.

When I went this winter they would not give you straight shots. I wanted a Jameson and they would only serve it on the rocks.

Are cocktails like Bloody Mary and Mimosa included in the open bar? I see the parts that make the drink available on the list but not the actual named drinks.

I was on the Sky in June. Yes, Bloody Marys and Mimosas were included. However, when asked to have a shot, the bartender put one ice cube in the cup LOL He said he can't just pour a shot. Another guest said the same thing happened to them.

Just off the Sky today and BT were pouring shots in the plastic cups without ice.

They should rename the "Open Bar" as "Closed Bar" as the only decent Single Malts have to be paid for. Even worse if it comes in plastic and you have to have ice in it. Heathens.

I avoided the “plastic cup” bars because I found the bartenders there flippant and kinda rude. I loved the bartenders in the Longboard Bar and had no issues getting any alcohol “neat”. I also found it hilarious that the ship was basically hiding the Fireball because people get so stupid when they drink it. I tried to get some for my Cider and they told me that. :')

I like to sip on Jamestown neat at room temp, nope, not allowed, must have ice.

Never experienced this on any other ship.

It's a booze cruise and the clientele are trashy and don't tip cash. Can't say I blame the bartenders.

Funny you mention Jameson because that’s what I ordered Neat 3 days in a row from the casino bar when I cut through on my way to the shops and got it without any issues. And my husband drinks his tequila neat and got it that way, too. Maybe it depends on the bar?

No issues getting Fireball on Sky, though they’ve been doing the booze cruise a tad longer.

No idea. On June 1 sailing I was not served anything neat, nor was anyone else at every bar I visited.

Look at the list posted above, but those are spread out all over the ship. Some I never saw (Sam Adams). Every bar had a different selection of those listed.

Very limited selection. Your typical crappy domestics, Heineken and Stella are what I recall. Some bars also had Newcastle on draft.
