Just remember.

If you reprice under a newer deal, that new deal may or may not be at the reduced deposit and someone may or may not tell you.

Worse case, your cruise is cancelled because you didn't comply with the new deposit rules requiring full $250 pp deposit.

Exactly, We book at least a year in advance and I like booking for $98 and saving up the rest rather than have to shell out $250 or $500 depending on the deal to get a slightly lower fare or $50 OBC

Just tried to book and the deposit was not quoted. Perhaps this offer has expired?

Shared this with the family. Who have all already paid higher deposits for the cruise next year. They all hate me right now. ;p

Nope but if you have to cancel later, you only lose $49 instead of a much higher regular deposit amount.

For a family of 4, paying the $49 deposit instead of a $500 deposit for a booking 1 year from now can result in an interest gain of about $15 at today's bank rates.
