Princess Cruise Discounts to Alaska this Summer

I was looking at the "Special Alaska Offer" and saw some inside cabins for this summer in the $350 to $500 range. When I looked at the Island / Coral inside cabins, the obstructed ocean view cabins came up at the same price as the inside cabins. We had an obstructed ocean view cabin on the Coral for a couple of our Alaska trips. Not a balcony by any means, but for the price this might be a unplanned summer trip.

Same thing on the Star. I'm surprised they hide them under "inside" cabins. I bet a lot of people never see them.

In April we snagged an obstructed ocean view on the Star for the June 2nd sailing for the same price as inside - $399! We had a marvelous time.

We had obstructed view rooms on both of our Alaskan cruises on the Star and they were great - barely obstructed at all.

I've only sailed once before on Princess but somehow got an Alaska offer for a balcony going solo for $499. So I am booked on the July 14 Star Princess Southbound :)

Offer also included $199 ($249 solo) inside and $299 ($349 solo) oceanview on a couple different sailings in June and July.
