Second Ship to Arrive in Grand Turk

In November I'll be on the Conquest. We're due to arrive in Grand Turk at 11 AM :(, and another Carnival ship will be already there, at 9. What is our chance of finding beach chairs at the port or down at Jack's? My backup plan would be to rent a golf cart, but that would require a prior commitment to that and we'd rather just relax near the port.

Depends on size of other ship and when it is leaving.

If it's a larger ship and not leaving until 4 or 5, chances are you'll find prime chair locations crowded. If ship is leaving at 1P or 2P, while it may still be busy when you arrive, after 12:30 it'll start to clear out.

Regardless, it will be lunch time so Jack's grill will be hopping and most likely the chairs filled too. Beached Whale on right side of pier might offer better lounger availability. And as you dock, you should be able to gauge the size of the crowds.

Its the Carnival Pride and it'll be there from 9-5. My Conquest is there 11-7. Sun will set around 6.

Not happy about that schedule. It's a tough decision because ppl say golf carts will be sold out if I wait.

Any time I've been to Grand Turk getting loungers is a problem if there is another ship in port.

You could go to Bohio Dive Resort on Pillory beach and rent chairs from them. It's away from the cruise ships and a really nice beach.
