Sip and Sail dates confirmed for booking (June 26 - September 5, 2018)

It is most unfair the sipn sail not offered to uk customers. That is two customers who do at least two cruises a year that princess have lost to this .

How does Princess prevent people that live in the UK from booking a cruise with the Sip and Sale package using a non UK travel agent? Booking a cruise this way seems like a better option than not taking the cruise that you desire.

It does seem really unfair to have different and better promotions than what we have in Australia. We can only complain to Princess and see what happens...

We have been told we cannot book through the US as we need a US address although I know some people do. Also that we may not be allowed to board if we do. I would prefer to stick with an Australian agent.

If that’s it then it’s a joke. Although as they mention under 50 some odd days in the release then I doubt that is the entire list.

Those are merely two flyers showing a few examples of S+S cruises with CAD & USD prices.

They routinely release such e-flyers weeks before a sale and shortly before beginning Princess sends emails to TAs with all of the cruise fares & mine shares them with me.

Astroflyer is correct - they just give examples in that flyer.

If you complain to Princess I would be interested in what excuse is given. I am thinking of booking a cruise on Sapphire as it has an itinerary that we want to do but it really grates me that the best we can get is $100 OBC and a balcony breakfast as we are a past passenger. That's the current sale!

We never get free gratuities and poor OBC amounts compared to the US travellers.

Will there be an excel file posted that has the sailings and sip and sail prices on it....seen that in the past for new releases, can’t remember if there was one for sip and sail or # for free promos. Thanks!

Like you, I recall the cruise fares in both Excel (.xls) and PDF forms which we may again learn about before S+S begins on 6/26.

It was probably posted by Coral who has been very helpful in that regard in the past.

Coral has been very helpful by providing advance notice of sales information.

She’s en route to a cruise & since we use the same sources if I discover the cruise fares list will post it while she’s cruising. Or any of the others who have such information may post the information first.

EDIT: While composing my post see that you already located the just released information in PDF. ;) (y)

Hopefully the cruise fares will soon be released.

Yes, the fares are critical. I would have taken advantage of the Landmark Sale but the fares had gone up incredibly since I booked and it wasn't worth it to me at all. I'm hoping there will be something under the Sip and Sail that works for me. My wife is looking at another Alaska cruisetour and I see that the cruise portion of the trip is listed but have no idea what the cost will be. It's already a spendy trip and I hope they don't raise the cost a ton for this promo.

Looking at the promo discussed here, we currently have one in the UK.

It is called '3 for free deal' and offers 1) a free shore excursion, 2) a free speciality dining, and 3) a free bottle of wine.

Me thinks you get the better deal :'):o

...my planned 2019 is listed!

Pretty much all cruise from Summer 2019 to Spring 2020 will be included in sip and sail except for short or extremely long cruises just like the past few years.

Both of our 2019 cruises are listed but Princess is currently listing them for significantly more than we paid at booking. Our 12 day is listed at $1,200 more for the cabin we have booked. It hardly makes this a great "sale". I really doubt they are planning to drop the price for this promo.

Me thinks that you’re correct this time.

When Princess offers 3 for Free varies by region as does the benefits. As I recall Aussie friends had it around February and in North America it has been between September & November.

Your current offer is what was available several years ago in NA but more recent offers have been my best option (tips, OBC, category upgrade) for all of my recent & future cruises. Who knows why Princess marketing varies by region but it’s undoubtedly based on analysis by their bean counters.

Quick question: Has anyone gotten a Casino Rate during the Sip and Sail promotion. Thanks in advance.

As promos always contain verbiage stating they can't be combined with any other sort of reduced rate I'd say you are out of luck there.

That being said unless the rate with the sip and sail jumps way up I will gladly abandon my casino rate for the sip and sail - I am currently booked at about $500 less than what is quoted on the website now. Just get the best deal and make sure I have the drink plan (there is no way I would sail with the plan. My PVP is going to e-mail me the sip and sail rate on the 26th.

I just did a mock booking of our B2B segments on the Emerald in October/November of 2019 (on "that website" )......the first segment is $50.00 more pp for the cruise and the second segment is $548.00 more pp for the cruise (this segment - a TA had gone up on the regular Princess site for several weeks so not that big a difference than current pricing). We lose our Landmark sale OBC but still is a much better deal for us $$$ wise on the first segment....is saves us a little bit on the second cruise. Will have my TA take care of this on the 26JUN...

The full, final listing is located HERE

For those who don't trust links of the sort above here is the URL: https://book.princess.com/pdf/onesource/pc/PC_2018Sip&SailVoyageList_FINAL.pdf

The Excel files typically show up a couple of days before the sale starts. It will be on this page which is the home of the document you provided https://book.princess.com/BookingSystem/goToUrl.do?srcURL=marketing/pc/promotional/promotions/index.jsp . By the way, the voyage document wasn't there yesterday, hopefully they will release the pricing sooner than usual!
