Typical mix of Passeger nationalities?

We are on the Iberian adventure in Nov and were curious to see what the mix of passenger nationalites will be. All nationalites are fun. On our last cruise (an Avalon River Cruise in Europe) it was about 30% ea American and Canadians. A good size group from Australia and England and then other countries. We found some of the best people to hang out with were Canadian and Briitish. But we had LOTS of fun with the Australians. The cruise before that was Holland America to Alaska. It was mostly American with smaller percentages from around the world. Being an American, I have to say they are a good group (Right!)....... but who wants to have the same type of new people to meet on a vacation adventure.

So what can we expect on the Iberian Adventure Cruise?

If the cruise starts in Southampton then most of the passengers will be British, then a few from the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. There are likely to be a few from around the world as well. Formal nights can be interesting as many people wear national dress.

We have done 2 QM2 sailings from Southampton to Brooklyn and found about 50% percent from UK and about 50% from US roughly. Of course there were some people from Canada, Australia, etc. but about half seemed to be from US and half from UK.

Just to round out the data a bit, on the Caribbean itineraries Americans usually comprise a pluality but not a majority of passengers, followed by British citizens, then Canadians, Germans, French in some order.

On our west-bound TA last year Captain Wells announced at the reception that there were 53 countries represented by the passengers. He listed British, US, Canadian, Aussi and NZ as the top five groups and in that order. Interestingly, while I don't remember the exact number, the crew represented even more countries!
