English speaking Guide

Hello. Traveling to SPB with our own Visas. Not looking for escorted tour -- looking for an English speaking escort to help us with language, signage and sorting out the public transportation. Plan to stay within city limits and don't need a guide per se, just someone to keep us from getting lost or ripped off. Does anyone know of locals who would be available for something like this for 2-3 days? Thank you!

Ask the same question on Tripadvisor forum. There are a few locals who write on the forum so they will help you. You also can mail to any of the tour companies and ask for a student/trainee to accompany you.
