Can Spa Package be shared with a person in another cabin?

I'm sailing on the Seaside in January and was planning to get one of the x2 spa packages for me and my mother as a present. I can't seem to find info on how the second person gets assigned to the package though, does that happen on board and can I assign it to someone who's not in my cabin?
