State room 8069

hi there. We were guaranteed a catergory B 5 on pacific princess. We have just been assigned a B 4 stateroom which is 8069. Does anyone have a review on this room. 😀 and what is the difference between B 5 and B 4 catergory?

I just pulled up the deck plans for the Pacific Princess. The difference between the two categories is location.

I'd say be very pleased with your assignment .... the balcony cabin you have been assigned to is an aft facing one with wake views.

On that same deck, had you been assigned a B5 cabin, it would have been forward facing. IMO, the drawback to that is that often the use of a forward facing balcony can be limited when the ship is underway at full speed in the open ocean due to windiness.

I personally LOVE that little ship!! Hope you do too.
