Customs/immigration

we are flying into Fairbanks(from Boston thru Minneapolis) for a 12 day trip ending up cruising into Vancouver. Flying back thru Minneapolis and then Boston.

Where do we go thru customs?

Canadian in Vancouver? US in Minneapolis?

You will go through USA customs when leaving Vancouver at the airport.

This will occur right after you go through airport security.

I asked a similar question, in Vancouver there is pre-clearance.

So if your flight or navigation does not touch a Canadian port the immigration and customs will be in Vancouver, if there is a stopover in Canada, the immigration and customs will be up to your first port in the USA.

You will do Canadian as you leave the ship, and US at the Vancouver airport.

You will go through USA customs when leaving Vancouver at the airport.

 

This will occur right after you go through airport security.
