How does the watersports platform operate on the Wind Surf in the Caribbean?

We have traveled twice with Windstar- once on the Windsurf and once on the Star Legend. They will open up the Marina when the ship is at anchor ( in a quite port) and the conditions are ok. Swells were too big to open it more than once on our last trip. They will take you waterskiing, there are kayaks and paddle boards, or you can simply lounge on the blue rafts or trampoline. It is a fun, unique benefit of these ships. Windstar is great!

Sal Paradise,

They have one very small catamaran for 2 at most. I think they may also have a sunfish but not sure. They have paddle boards, kayaks (single and double) and they do waterski and wake boarding rides as well tubing rides for those less adventurous? On our Legend cruise last week, they had the marina open 3 days plus they brought the toys to the beach on the day of the beach BBQ. They will also supply snorkelling gear for the week if you need.

There was one sailboat on the Wind Surf. It looked like a Sunfish. There were 4 SUP and 3-4 kayaks. The watersports platform was open every day we were tendered but there were some days that they didn't take out the kayaks, SUP and boats because of the currents. Also, the hours in the daily program might not be accurate. They closed a full hour earlier one day saying the program was mistaken. It was a blast! Enjoy!
