are out of state handicapped placards honored in hawaii??

From a State of Hawaii Department of Health website:

Q. "I will be visiting Hawaii with a disability parking placard issued by another state or foreign country. Can I use my placard in Hawaii?

A. Yes. You may use a placard issued by your state in Hawaii as long as it is not expired"

I believe the handicapped plate/placard standard, while issued by individual states, are recognized nationwide. Can't speak to international handicapped placard. Probably not.
