This was our fourth Seabourn cruise, and we rated it as one of the best. The crew were amazing, the food was delicious in all venues, the entertainment was really good, the conversations were interesting, and the ports were good to walk around and explore.

We breakfasted in our suite sometimes, more often the Collenade and the restaurant once. There is no need to visit the buffet if you choose not to, as the wait staff are very happy to serve you.

Lunch was usually Patio Grill or Collenade. Always plenty of room, sitting outside which we mostly chose, wonderful views, great service, and interesting fellow passengers if you felt like chatting.

We dined mainly in the restaurant, again found the choices of food and wine very good, and of course there was the always available menu. For the wines, our sommelier was always a happy to bring us our preferred choices of wines.

We also dined in the Thomas Keller Grill, excellent menu, and very good service.

The entertainment was excellent, the Tim Rice show was superb.

Our overwhelming impression was that the Quest was a very happy ship, the officers and crew worked together as a very professional and happy team.

We can recommend Seabourn wholeheartedly, particularly the Quest, and look forward to sailing again in the future.

We are taking a similar cruise in a week and a half on Silversea Whisper, our first with that line, to see what's what. And so I will write a review when we are back and make some comparisons to the Odyssey class ships. The Whisper is a several years older and has about 62 fewer passengers.

Happy and healthy sailing!

Markham,

Can you find out if the crew still store food in their cabins like they have done in the past.

I’m looking forward to your report.

Chef Jez is very proud of his Galley Lunch and it was a great experience for us.

Another highlight was the final sail away outside on Deck 8 featuring classical music beautifully sang by the Seabourn singers, with champagne vodka and caviar from Chef Jez and his team. It was very moving and a great finale.
