Does NCL Remove Promos Close To Sailing Date?

I did a dummy booking for next week and it was showing all the options of choosing promos...but I thought I'd read last year that 30 days before a sailing these were removed. I look at lots of cruises so maybe I'm thinking of another line. Thanks for your reply!

I'm thinking about a cruise that I will have to wait until close to the sailing date to book.

I thought I'd read that NCL didn't offer the option of choosing the beverage package or dining package or internet etc one month before the sailing. Am I thinking of some other line? Or has NCL changed this policy?

That was the policy at one point. The only problem now if you wait you might find the ship is booked up.
