Venice - other sights?

Hi - we have been to Venice several times and so seen the sights in St marks Sq etc and was wondering how easy it is to go to the beach ( think it's Lido?) or to Murano, or somewhere else - we don't want something that is too far to travel too or hard to get back from.

Any ideas and help greatly appreciated

It is very easy take the vaparetto from opposite the bridge of sighs just down from st marks square. Burano and Murano are also from this stop

You can take a vaporetto to the lido either using several routes from from Piazza Roma or the route B from station maritime. Try to get to Burano, it is like a little Venice, there is a vaporetto but I think you have to change

Burano is a must ,get off at murano have a look at the glass factory then catch the next one to burano buy a days ticket,
