also flights out we have 28 kg of luggage allowance but can only put a case on for 23kg can we put a 2nd for the other 5kg as we haven't done long haul before so different thing keep popping up today was dry run on hand luggage which has been a bit of a nightmare.

On your arrival you will be expected to attend your safety drill which will be around 8pm local time.

The next night it will be repeated but that drill is for people arriving on the ship on that day again, around the same time.

They now scan your cruise card when you go to the safety drill to make sure that everybody attends before sailing. I’m sure that if you ask, you will be ok to go to the Saturday drill.

I guess that in view of the luggage allowance, that you are travelling Premium Economy? When we travelled in December, the check in staff at Gatwick added the weight of our bags together and were happy as we did not exceed the total weight of 56kilos (for two) and that no one bag exceeded 23 kilos

Hope this helps.

hi, were on the same cruise and also leave Manchester on the Friday. if you have like ourselves 28kg of luggage allowance you take it in 2 cases or like us we take 3 bags that weigh up to the allowance.

On previous transatlantic cruises the safety drill is before departure around 5pm,Any late arrivals on that day will have a drill before departure. It would be impossible to do a drill at 8pm as the restaurants and public areas would be serving dinner.
