Cabin question Emerald deck E714 on Star Princess

We are going on Alaskan cruise on June 2nd on the Star Princess. We have cabin E714 on Emerald deck with a obstructed view. Has anyone ever stayed in that cabin? Also has anyone done that cruise to Alaska southbound from Anchorage to Vancouver? Any suggestions on excursions? Want to possible walk on glacier in Juneau. Should we do that with the ship or get a company and do it privately? We are also arriving early and driving up by Denali for 2 nights.
